Funded by Title IV, Part A, the Safety and Crisis Response Unit' s primary purpose is to support grant activities aimed at developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive programs and activities that create a safe school environment. Such programs include the development, implementation, and support of the District's Multi-Hazard Emergency Operations Plan which consists of the School Behavioral Threat Assessment Program, Safe and Supportive Schools Program, Standard Response Protocols, Standard Reunification Method and oversight of the United ISD Safety and Security Committee.
