About United ConnectED

With the passage of Texas Senate Bill 569 in 2025, districts can now offer more flexible online instructional models. United ConnectED was created to provide families with additional choices in how students learn, without compromising the rigorous quality of education provided by United ISD.

Led by highly qualified teachers, our virtual program offers 9th-12th grade students a flexible and engaging online education option to succeed and thrive in a structured, virtual learning environment.

Virtual Program Offerings

Full Virtual Program

  • Newly Enrolled Out-of-District Texas Students - Available to 9th - 12th out-of-district Texas students who complete all coursework online and receive full academic and counseling support through district staff. (Must enroll as a UISD Student)

Full Virtual Program Course List

Hybrid Program

  • Current UISD Students - Available to current UISD students in 11th and 12th grade in 2026- 2027 who may take up to two online courses per semester while remaining enrolled at their home campus. Courses may be completed through a modified schedule (late arrival or early release). Students must have their own transportation.

Registration

Important Date: The registration window runs from Feb. 2nd - March 13th.

Students will complete a United ConnectED Google application form. Each an attendance, academic, and assessment history will be reviewed to help determine whether the online program is the best learning option for their success. This review does not prevent participation; rather, it enables district personnel to provide specific recommendations to ensure students thrive in the most suitable learning environment.

Ideal Qualities of a United ConnectED Student

Students who are motivated, organized, and comfortable managing their time independently tend to thrive. The program is also well-suited for students balancing academics with athletics, fine arts, health needs, or work commitments.
