United Independent School District continues to be one of the fastest-growing districts in the State of Texas. The projected enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year is expected to exceed 40,000 students, and that figure is projected to increase by 300 to 500 students annually.

To gather all pertinent information enabling the department to forecast student population growth and its impact on the (4) High Schools, (12) Middle Schools, (30) Elementary Schools’ boundaries and all future schools.

  • Provide adequate information to property owners, parents on prospective school boundaries.
  • Gather all pertinent information to project student enrollment.
  • Establish and maintain planning procedures.
  • Continue to promote communication between all campuses and planning personnel in order to adequately service our student body.

The Department utilizes a Geographic Information System (GIS) software, to aid in the research of various projections and their impact on school boundaries. The “Find My School” link is a resource to find your school by specific property address.
