The primary goal of the United ISD Elementary Science program is to significantly enhance student achievement and engagement in science. We aim to accomplish this by:

• Improving Instructional Practices: We'll implement and support research-based professional development for all elementary teachers. This will focus on strengthening pedagogical content knowledge and integrating hands-on, inquiry-based teaching strategies that align with district and state standards. Our goal is for every teacher to feel confident and competent in delivering high-quality science instruction.
• Enhancing Student Experiences: We're committed to providing students with the most effective hands-on experiences. This includes ensuring access to up-to-date science kits, laboratory materials, and technology that allow for authentic experimentation and discovery.
