UISD Holds Mental Health Fair at Lyndon B. Johnson High School

United Independent School District hosted a Mental Health Fair at Lyndon B. Johnson High School in observance of Mental Health Awareness Month and as part of an ongoing effort to promote student wellness and connect families with valuable community resources.
The event brought together several community partners who shared information about the mental health and support services available throughout the community. Students had the opportunity to learn more about resources focused on emotional wellness, counseling services, crisis support, and healthy living.
The Mental Health Fair was the first in a series of fairs planned across the district during the month of May. Additional fairs will be held at the following high schools:
• Alexander High School — May 12 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the gym
• United High School — May 14 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the mall area
• United South High School — May 20 from 11 a.m. to 1:25 p.m. in the cafeteria
UISD’s Department of Guidance and Counseling is coordinating the events as part of the district’s continued commitment to supporting the academic, emotional, and social well-being of all students.
