United Independent School District administrators and employees joined the district’s Wellness Committee, and representatives from Laurel Insurance as UISD was recognized by Airrosti as its 2025 Ambassador Award Winner for South Texas.
The 2025 Airrosti Ambassador Award award recognizes UISD’s outstanding commitment to employee health and well-being, placing the district among a select few organizations across the Lone Star State to earn this distinction. Through its partnership with Airrosti, UISD has helped countless employees access and appreciate the benefits of high-quality musculoskeletal care.
Airrosti provides rapid recovery treatment for soft tissue injuries. They help diagnose and treat most common musculoskeletal and joint conditions. Their treatment has shown to be effective at helping resolve everything from headaches to plantar fasciitis.
Airrosti’s Director of Business Development Juan Gaona noted that UISD has worked with Airrosti for 14 years. “Their passion, creativity, unwavering commitment to employee health, innovation and advocacy truly defines what the Airrosti Ambassador Award is all about. Through their continued collaboration, they have helped countless employees move past pain and perform at their very best note. Thank you for leading the way and creating a healthier, stronger workforce,” he said.
Employee Wellness Program Coordinator Cordelia Sarabia noted the true benefit of UISD’s partnership with Airrosti. “When we work together like this, we're able to create a culture of care and a culture of really having our staff members thrive both inside and outside of the classroom, and we hope that it trickles on to family members and community health,” she said.
This award reflects United ISD’s proactive approach to employee wellness by prioritizing care that promotes rapid recovery, reduces time away from work, and supports long-term health.
