United Middle School Science Teacher Recognized as KGNS Teacher of the Month

A United Middle School science teacher and cheer sponsor has much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving after her cheer team nominated her for being an exceptional educator. KGNS TV station and the Tellez Law Firm recognized Mrs. Veronica Lopez as their Teacher of the Month for November.
Mrs. Lopez, a dedicated 7th-grade science teacher, also leads the United Middle School Cheer team. Throughout her career, she has taught multiple middle school subjects and supported various extracurricular activities, including cross-country, tennis, and UIL. Her passion, commitment, and willingness to go the extra mile shine through everything she does.
“People say middle school is tough to teach, but I love it. You create a bond with the students, and they feel heard and supported, which gives me the passion to keep going.”
Mrs. Lopez was surprised in her classroom with a goodie basket, a $250 check, and donuts for her students. She shared her heartfelt gratitude with her students, cheer team, and school administration for the recognition.
