Kindness Rocks at Johnson High School 9th Grade

Students from Johnson High School 9th Grade took part in the observance of International Kindness Day by donating new clothing items, pajamas, blankets, and canned goods to support local community centers. The students also observed the day by taking part in the Kindness Rocks Project. The Kindness Rocks Project gave the students an opportunity to paint rocks or stones with inspirational messages or sayings. Then they left them along the campus sidewalk for other students to find. Students can take a rock when they need an inspirational message, or give a rock to a friend when they need an inspirational message. The intention is to spread kindness around the campus.
