United Independent School District Board of Trustees and Superintendent Roberto J. Santos are pleased to announce Mrs. Pamela A. Arredondo as the new principal of Clark Middle School.
Pamela A. Arredondo is a 12-year veteran educator of United ISD with an extensive background in education. She is a graduate of the University of Texas-Pan American where she earned her Bachelor of Science with a double major: Kinesiology and English, with teaching certifications in Kinesiology-All level and English/Language Arts, grades 4-8. Mrs. Arredondo also earned a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M International University.
This past school year, Mrs. Arredondo served as an Assistant Principal at Raul Perales Middle School during the school's inaugural year and as an Assistant Principal at United South Middle School prior to that. Mrs. Arredondo has also served United ISD as a summer school principal, a Reading teacher and Department Head, a UIL Coach and a Track and Cross Country coach.
Mrs. Arredondo stated, "I am very honored and appreciative to have been given this opportunity to serve as CMS Principal. I'd like to thank UISD Superintendent, the school board and all the leaders who have helped me prepare for this new role. I am very excited to work with all stakeholders because as a team, we will succeed together."
Mrs. Arredondo succeeds Mrs. Melissa Chapa Ramirez who has accepted the Director of Guidance and Counseling position.
Mrs. Arredondo will assume her newly appointed position in July 2019.
