Recently, The John B. Alexander High School Recycling Club announced that, as a result of previous members' efforts and in collaboration with the Pepsico Recycle Rally recycling program, their club will be donating several 30-Gallon Recycling Bins to the Art Department and Graphic Design Classes.
They have previously collaborated with teachers in Art departments, and they are aware of their needs in terms of encouraging recycling efforts in their classrooms. The Recycling Club has generously donated one recycling bin for each of their classrooms. They are excited to continue their efforts to foster a social conscience that promotes recycling on campus, in the community, and with their partners.
“There are things that are more important than we are, and our environment is certainly one of them, so as you learn that, you will be on your way to becoming better citizens,” Ernesto Sandoval, Campus Principal, said to members of the club.
