Texas Parents Have Better Rights to Support Their Children’s Learning
United ISD takes great pride in providing the best educational opportunities for all students to meet their academic potential. We are very cognizant of the great challenges presented this past school year as we transitioned to a virtual learning setting. Therefore, we have reviewed and revised our district curriculum for every grade-level and foundational content area to provide accelerated instructional activities that will assist in closing the learning gaps caused by the COVID pandemic. If however, you believe it is in the best social, emotional, and academic interest for your child to repeat a grade or course please visit the district website under the Senate Bill 1697 heading to complete and submit the Google Form requesting the change for the 2021-22 school year. The form must be submitted before August 13, 2021, so that the appropriate changes may take place. Please contact your child's campus administrator for additional information and/or click the link listed above.
