CDT Isidro Alaniz, Jr., a senior at West Point United States Military Academy, recently visited with students at Alexander High School (AHS). CDT Alaniz gave the students insight into what it's like to be accepted and attend the prestigious academy. CDT Alaniz answered the students’ questions and intrigued them with his many experiences at the Academy. CDT Alaniz served as an excellent role model for the AHS students who are just beginning to think about what their futures will hold. CDT Alaniz displayed his Academy memorabilia for the students, which included his ARMY football jersey, helmet and commemorative football, his uniform hat, and his formal military photo. CDT Alaniz exemplifies what it means to be successful, not only in education but as a stellar citizen of the world. United ISD and Alexander High School wish to thank CDT Alaniz for his hard work and dedication to his personal success, his country, and to the students of United ISD.
