Fifth-grade students representing the Trautmann Elementary National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) attended the University of Texas’ Annual Explore UT Event. Every year, The University of Texas (UT) invites students and parents from around the state to experience the different programs that UT has to offer. There are over 400 events for the students to choose from. The events included hands-on projects and experiments in engineering, sciences, fine arts, architecture, health services, chemical engineering, cultural studies, robotics, and much more. University of Texas President Gregory L. Fenves, said, “As the flagship university of Texas, The University of Texas at Austin serves the state and nation with life-changing educational opportunities for students, groundbreaking research, and transformative health care solutions.” Trautmann Elementary NEHS students enjoyed their day thoroughly and made memories that will last a lifetime.
