Laurel Insurance and Associates, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas representatives recently recognized several United Independent School District campuses and departments for hosting health screenings at their respective locations. The health screenings were held from March to May and were highly attended by employees. The health screenings tested employees for total cholesterol, HDL, LDL Cholesterol, Triglycerides, and Glucose. After each health test, each participant received a personal health report containing all of their measured data, an explanation and interpretation of their health data, and a tailored recommendation for improving their overall health. Additionally, health screenings will be taking place at other UISD campuses and departments from now through October.
