Bus Route Planning

Each of our bus stops (routes) is designed after a careful study of the student demographics and walking distances to the bus stops and rider ship in your living area among other factors. The overall safety of the bus stop placement is one of the most important factors considered. United I.S.D. is currently transitioning to a new electronic bus routing and scheduling system. This system is expected to provide improved bus routes in order to optimize the number of driving miles. 

Administration constantly evaluates and changes bus routes in order to provide the best service to our parents. In addition, this is done in order to cope with the rapid growth of the school district. Student safety and overall bus route efficiency are the main factors involved in considering any bus route changes. Feel free to contact our offices with any information on traffic changes, potential dangers, etc. We will take into consideration any recommendations for a bus route or bus stop change.
