Dropout Recovery
Goal: Increase the District’s graduation rate through the effective
implementation of a dropout recovery program.
Mission:
Our mission is to deter students from dropping out of school by
developing a comprehensive approach which focuses on: (1)
prevention initiatives to assure that students do not fall
behind academically, (2) interventions to help students who have
fallen behind academically, (3) a collaborative approach to
support students and their families facing multiple barriers to
educational success, (4) school environments that are safe and
nurturing to both students and their families, (5) communication
of the Dropout Prevention/Reduction efforts to the Public and
(6) accountability systems to assure that students graduate from
high school.
