Binders, pencils, pens, spiral notebooks, composition books, folders, crayons, glue, pencil boxes, and much more are some of the items members of the Next Generation Rotary Club happily donated to students in need at the United Independent School District. With their “service above self” motto in mind, the Rotary Club held a school supply drive during the summer where they challenged members to bring in supplies for students. Pictured accepting the thoughtful donation from the organization are from left to right: Director of Admissions, Attendance, and Dropout Recovery Director Joe Almazan, Rotarian representatives and organizers Norma Valdez and Tito Gonzalez, and Family Services Coordinator Liz Raymond.
