STATE ACCOUNTABILITY
In 1993, the Texas Legislature mandated the creation of the Texas public school accountability system to rate school districts and evaluate campuses. The Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) provides comprehensive reports that provide student performance, student demographic, staff and key financial data.

Academic Excellence Indicator System
An annual report from the Texas Education Agency, required by state law, describing the educational performance of the district and of each campus in the district, including accountability, student performance, student and staff demographics, tax, budgeted expenditures, program, and class-size data.

For more detailed information regarding UISD and individual campus performance, current and previous years’ Accountability Data Tables can be accessed through the use of the following drop down menu.
