The United
Independent
School District
provides an academic program which allows
every child to achieve his/hers maximum
potential. Factors such as economic
status, limited English proficiency and
unprecedented district growth are not
barriers but challenges which the
administration understands and overcomes
through the development of strong
leadership, innovative instructional
programming and cutting edge classroom
technology.
The District maintains educational
excellence through cyclical training of
all teachers, continual training of
administrators, active grant writing and
an internal instructional accountability
system that assures quality at all
instructional levels.
Instruction is offered to more than 32,000
students at each one of our four high schools,
three magnet schools, eight middle
schools, twenty-two elementary schools and
one alternative campus.
