
Our Department
The Dyslexia/Section 504 program is a part of the Department of Curriculum
and Instruction under the Accountability Division. The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is headed by Ms. Pamela Juarez, Associate Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. The Accountability Division is under the leadership of Ms. Guadalupe Gorordo, Executive Director of Instructional Accountability.
It is the policy of the United Independent School District

required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; Title IX of
the Educational Amendments of 1972; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, as
