Due to the upcoming Easter holiday, all United Independent School District campuses and departments, will be closed on Thursday, April 21, and Friday, April 22, 2011.

The UISD Tax Office, located at 3501 E. Saunders, will also be closed on these days.  However, taxes may be paid online at www.uisd.net.

All UISD campuses and departments will resume their regular schedule on Monday, April 25, 2011.

Parents should note that upon return from the holidays, students in the following grade levels will be taking the state mandated Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) Test.

It is imperative that students return to school ready to take these exams they have successfully prepared for.
