Pat Campos

Pat CamposRepresenting District 3, Pat Campos was first elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2003, and re-elected for a second term in 2006. During her tenure on the Board, she has served as Parliamentarian, Vice-President and Instructional Committee Chair. In 2008 her colleagues chose her to serve as President of the School Board.

Ms. Campos also serves on the Webb County Appraisal District Board as its Vice-Chair, the Para-Transit Advisory Board, and Drug and Alcohol Commission. She has also served in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School Board, Laredo Job Corp Advisory Board, Diocese of Laredo Catholic Social Services Board, Blessed Sacrament Parish Council and Community Action Agency Advisory Board President.

She has worked with youth and young adults for over 30 years. She is the Director of Probation Services for the Webb County Juvenile Department and has also served as a Daisy and Brownie Girl Scout Leader, youth minister and catechist. She is a parishioner at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church.

Pat Campos is a member of the International Gang Investigators Association (ILGIA), Texas Gang Investigators Association (TGIA), Texas Probation Association (TPA), Texas Corrections Association (TCA), Juvenile Justice Association of Texas (JJAT), and National Association of Latino Elected Officials (NALEO).

Ms. Campos says that education is this community’s highest priority and all students in this community deserve learning opportunities that will help them be successful in life. Board members work together with the superintendent to reach the primary goal of promoting student success in a financially efficient manner.

Pat Campos has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Laredo State University and a Paralegal Certificate from Texas A&M International University.
